TECHLink Equipment Terms & Conditions

Apple iPad

• Customers must leave a government issued ID at the help desk when checking out this equipment.

Bambu Lab 3D Printers

• Reservations using TECHLink supplied filament are not permitted to print in multiple colors due to waste and the 2-hour reservation limit.
• If customers bring their own filament spools, multi-color printing is allowed, but prints may take up to twice as long.

Brother Embroidery Machine

• Reservations for the Brother embroidery machines require previous attendance to the mandatory Embroidery Basics Workshop.
• Customers must bring their own USB 2.0 drive to transfer designs to the embroidery machine.
• Customers must provide their own stabilizer backing. TECHLink sells 18" stabilizer sheets for $1.00 per sheet (cashless payments only).
• TECHLink provides a limited selection of thread colors. Customers needing specific colors must bring their own.

Button Maker Press

• Button parts are $0.50 per button paid via debit, credit or tap-to-pay.
• HPL is cashless, Public Access Printing is operated through a vendor who charges a temporary hold of $5.00, minimum charge of $1.00. Unspent credit will be debited back to your card.

Collab Areas

• TECHLink members are responsible for any guests in the Collab areas for the duration of their reservation.

Cricut

• Use caution when operating high-temperature machines like the Cricut EasyPress, as the heated surfaces can cause serious burns. Keep hands and other objects away from the heat plate during use.
• Customers must supply their own materials to create projects during their reservations.
• Cricut print-then-cut projects must be printed off-site. HPL Public Access Printing only uses standard copy paper and cannot print on customer-supplied paper.

Epson Expression 12000XL

• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external hard drive to save their projects and files.

Kodak REELS Film Digitizer

• Customers must bring their own SD Card to save their projects and files.

Laminator

• Customers may bring their own 3-mil or 5-mil laminating pouches or purchase them from TECHLink for $1.00 per sheet (cashless).

Laser Cutter and Engraver

• Reservations for the TECHLink laser cutters requires previous attendance to the mandatory Laser Cutting Essentials Workshop.
• Reservation holders are only permitted to use materials from the approved list of materials (see item description).

Multimedia iMac and PC

• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external hard drive to save their projects and files.

Music Studio

• Customers must leave a government issued ID at the help desk when checking out this equipment.
• Reservations for the Music Studio require previous attendance to the mandatory Music Studio Introduction Workshop.
• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external drive to save projects or files.
• TECHLink members are responsible for any guests in the Music Studio for the duration of their reservation.

Podcast Studio

• Customers must leave a government issued ID at the help desk when checking out this equipment.
• Reservations for the Podcast Studio require previous attendance to the mandatory Podcast Studio Introduction Workshop.
• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external drive to save projects or files.
• TECHLink members are responsible for any guests in the Podcast Studio for the duration of their reservation.

PowerSlide X

• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external hard drive to save their projects and files.

Tiny Tech

• Children 0-6 years old may not be left unattended and/or unsupervised at any time.
• Children 7-14 years old should not be left unattended and/or unsupervised for more than one hour or at closing time.

Video Studio

• Customers must leave a government issued ID at the help desk when checking out this equipment.
• Customers must bring their own USB 3.0 drive or external drive to save projects or files.
• TECHLink members are responsible for any guests in the Video Studio for the duration of their reservation.
