How can I get a mobile hotspot?

Answer

Visit the library catalog to place a hold today for a Mobile hotspot!

Customer must present a valid adult library card fines/fees under $25.
Customer must confirm PIN or present a valid, government issued photo ID in lieu of PIN.
Customer will agree to the checkout agreement prior to checking out a hotspot.
Devices may be returned to the service desk.
Devices may be returned to any HPL location.
Only one type of device per person per card may be checked out.
If damaged or lost, replacement fees may apply.
- $80 + $10 processing fee
- Damaged battery/charger/cord: $10 per item
Technical support is available:
- from Kajeet (the hotspot provider) Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 7 PM at 1-877-352-5338
- from an HPL staff member Monday - Friday, 9 AM- 5 PM, at 281-387-7998
