SEED DONATION GUIDELINES

We are happy to accept donations of open-pollinated, heirloom, and/or locally saved seeds in any quantity—even seeds from left-over purchased seed packets can be shared!

Commercial Seed Donations
    • If you would like to donate leftover commercial (store-bought) seeds, please tape shut the seed packet and place it in the donation box.

Home Grown Seed Donations
    • Home grown seeds are accepted as long as they are not hybrid seeds.
    • Please make sure seeds are collected from mature plants and dried correctly.
    • Include the following information on the seed package:
       - Plant Name
       - Sun Requirements
       - Planting Depth & Spacing
       - Harvest Date
    • Tape the seed packet shut and place in donation box.

We do not recommend donating seeds more than one year old.
Please note that hybrid seeds and seeds saved from grocery store produce are not suitable for the Seed Library.
